Tiffany is hired by Nick Reardon and Taylor McBride to impersonate Christine Denton, a former Marine who was romantically involved with Kyle McBride and was killed in the Gulf War. The intent for Taylor was to prevent Amanda Woodward and Kyle from getting married. The intent for Nick was to get Taylor's half of The Upstairs and reform his friendship with Kyle.
After Kyle and Amanda found her in New Mexico, Tiffany began her deception as she tried to stir up old memories for Kyle. On the wedding day of Kyle and Amanda, she threatened suicide and fixed it so that Kyle would save her from an oncoming train.
Tiffany was sleeping with Nick, but began to feel legitimately attracted to Kyle over time. She decided to back out of the plan out of guilt, but Nick and Taylor refused to let her. She then feigned suicidal tendencies while seeing Peter Burns and he decided to put her under suicide watch.
Taylor later visited her in the hospital and made her write a letter to Kyle, stating they had made love before she took it to Amanda. Amanda came into the hospital and threatened to kill her if she didn't get out of their lives.
After Nick and Taylor came to get Tiffany from the hospital, Tiffany assaulted Taylor and went to go find Kyle and tell him the truth about their plan. However, when they tried to stop her, Nick accidentally killed her when she hit her head. They then stuck her on the railroad tracks and staged a suicide to avoid going to jail.
