Walter is a recurring character on Season 5 of FOX drama soap Melrose Place. He is portrayed by Phil Morris.

Walter was the bodyguard of Carter Gallavan, a reclusive billionaire. He first appeared at an auction, bidding on a painting by Samantha Reilly, but losing out to Sydney Andrews. Sydney had not intended to buy the painting, so she showed up at Carter's house the next day, where Walter took her to Carter.
Walter offered compensation to Sydney if she would continue to be friends with Carter, which she declined. However, when Jane's was about to go under, Walter paid off the debt and forced her to stay with Carter in order to keep the boutique afloat.
After Carter had a breakthrough following his night with Sydney, Walter had Sydney removed from Carter's life and lied to Carter about her intentions. Sydney tried to make followup calls to Carter, but Walter kept interfering.
After Sydney exposed Walter for the liar that he was, Carter fired him.
