Following 8 young people in their 20s living in the lush neighbourhood that is Melrose Place, while dealing with dramatic events.

Season 1 of Melrose Place introduced Jane Andrews, Michael Mancini, Sandy Harling, Matt Fielding, Billy Campbell, Alison Parker, and Rhonda Blair. The cast also included Jake Hanson, who was briefly introduced in Beverly Hills, 90210. Jo Reynolds moved into the apartment complex following Sandy's departure as her replacement. Kimberly Shaw, Sydney Andrews and Amanda Woodward are also seen in guest appearances.
